John McGinn is a poet and writer whose work reflects a deep engagement with philosophy, psychology, and performance. A self-described "Creative Polymath, Lapsed Existentialist, and Reluctantly Conditioned Human," he brings a rich and varied intellectual background to his artistic endeavors.

Born in Kincardine and educated at Dunfermline High School, McGinn pursued a diverse academic journey that shaped his multifaceted approach to creativity. He studied Philosophy at the University of East Anglia (UEA), Psychology at the University of Dundee, and Counselling at Great Yarmouth College. His interest in the interplay between human behavior and expression led him to study Psychodrama at the London Centre for Psychodrama and Performance Studies at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Now based in Uxbridge, McGinn continues to explore the intersections of thought, emotion, and artistic expression through his poetry and writing. His work embodies a restless intellect and a passion for understanding the complexities of the human condition.
